Navigating the legal system can be stressful and confusing, especially if you’re also dealing with injuries resulting from someone else’s negligence. At The Law Office of Carl Maltese, we’re dedicated to providing peace of mind through reliable representation. Our extensive practical experience and passion for our clients have contributed to our longstanding reputation as trusted attorneys. We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue helping those in our community receive fair compensation for the injuries they’ve suffered.
Our firm was founded in 1966 by Carl P. Maltese. He spent his entire 40-year career as a personal injury lawyer, intentionally maintaining a small firm that allowed him to give each client the personal interaction they deserved. Today, in the same office location, Carl’s son and daughter-in-law, attorneys Alex Maltese and Diane Maltese, continue his legacy in personal injury law with over three decades of combined experience. By reserving our practice for helping those injured due to the negligence or recklessness of someone else, our attorneys are able to take on cases that other firms may reject as too difficult or expensive to handle.
The majority of our clients live and work in Suffolk County, and so does our team. We’re a part of your community, and we do our part to help keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone. We’re proud contributors to local charities, including the Smithtown Children’s Foundation and the Smithtown Historical Society.
We also support national charitable organizations, such as the Wounded Warriors Project, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Susan G. Komen, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Smile Train.
Our Smithtown location is—and always has been—our only location. Our clients speak to real people when they call, and we respond to phone calls and emails as quickly as possible. Our consultations are free, and we don’t charge attorney fees until compensation is received. We always keep our clients informed on their cases every step of the way and are here to answer any questions or address concerns.
