This place nurtured Billy Joel, Walt Whitman, LL Cool J, Maria Carey and Jerry Seinfeld. It is ethnically and culturally diverse, and no place is the same as the other. You will find ethnic meals, fresh seafood and mouth-watering bagels. See here for information about Exciting Things to Do in the Long Island.

Children will have limitless fun constructing sandcastles on stunning beaches and learning about the island’s waters at the Long Island Beach and the Jones Beach Nature Center. During summer, you can enjoy live concerts at the outdoor amphitheater at Jones Beach.

Montauk Point Lighthouse

This historic landmark was built in 1797, and it's one of the oldest lighthouses in the US. It became a pillar of hope and the first landmark many immigrants saw on their path to a free world. Later, it became a fire control center by the armed forces during World War 2.
